Now that Weekend Wraps has been released, our publisher has shared one of the patterns from the book for free, and it happens to be one of mine. I thought I’d share it here, too, for my readers! The sample was returned to me in […]
Sometimes, those little leftover bits of special yarn beg to be knit up into something special. I’ve been hoarding my worsted-weight Plucky Knitter leftovers, for just this kind of thing. Meet Bright Spot, a worsted-weight fair isle hat that is a great use for those […]
Quince and Co’s latest design team collection, Glen, has been released and I designed 2 of the 4 pieces! Alba is a simple fingering-weight colorwork hat that uses lovely Finch, leaving you tons of options for beautiful color combinations.
Helga is a tunic-length pullover with a hood and pockets, because what’s cozier than that? It uses 2 strands of Chickadee, held together, for a beautiful marled look and a heavy-worsted gauge (4.25 sts/inch) that makes it quick-to-knit!
One of the 2 winners of my last giveaway never responded to my message, so I’m back to offer up 1 more copy of [amazon text=Weekend Wraps&asin=163250278X] to you, my readers. Just leave a comment on this post before the end of the day on August 15th EST, and I’ll draw a name to win a copy. It may take a few minutes for your comment to show up, as I have to approve each one (thank you, spammers!)
You can see photos of all the projects in my previous post, or view them here on Ravelry. Good luck!
Berroco’s Portfolio Vol. 2 has just been released, and I have 2 patterns in it!
The Four Winds Hat features simple cables that pop against a garter-stitch background, with cozy ear flaps. It takes just 2 skeins of Berroco Vintage Chunky and knits up quickly! The pattern can be purchased individually, or as part of the whole collection on Ravelry here.
The Arcadia Poncho features beautiful mirrored cables and a generous garter-stitch cowl. This one is knit in worsted-weight Berroco Vintage. It’s also available individually, or as part of the collection here.
