Peaks and Summit Hats

Free Knitting Pattern: Getaway Poncho

Free Knitting Pattern: Getaway Poncho

Now that Weekend Wraps has been released, our publisher has shared one of the patterns from the book for free, and it happens to be one of mine. I thought I’d share it here, too, for my readers! The sample was returned to me in the spring, and I was able to wear it to a few preschool pick-ups before the weather turned too warm. Now that we’re experiencing cool mornings and evenings again in Massachusetts, it’s making its way back into rotation. You can find it on Ravelry here.

This is a quick knit in Berroco Peruvia Quick! Enjoy!

Summer Knitting

Over the last few months I’ve been busy working on many new projects. One very exciting one has been working as part of the 2016 Quince and Co Design team! I’ve written 9 new patterns in Quince yarns for this project, and the first 2 were released this spring in Quince’s 2 linen yarns, Sparrow and Kestrel.

Meet Pippa, a light linen tank with a sweet back lace detail. Lots of smooth stockinette makes this a great project for your summer travels; it’s a perfect beach knit. The Pippa pattern can be purchased here on Ravelry.

Jessamin is an open-front cardigan with 3-quarter-length sleeves and and an open lace mesh border. As someone who’d prefer to wear cardigans all year, this was designed to be an extra layer on a cool summer evening. There are already quite a few finished ones on Ravelry to check out! You can purchase the Jessamin pattern here.
